HHS Accepting Nominations for the GT Program

Henrietta ISD is now accepting referrals for the Gifted and Talented Program. A gifted/talented student is a child or youth who performs at or shows the potential for performing at a remarkably high level of accomplishment when compared to others of the same age, experience, or environment. A gifted/talented student is one who exhibits high performance capability in an intellectual area or excels in a specific academic field. Students may be referred by teachers, counselors, parents, or other interested persons. Referrals for this school year will be accepted November 5 through November 19, 2019. Referral forms are available in each campus office or from your child’s teacher. For a student to be evaluated this school year, completed referral forms must be turned in to your child's campus office no later than the end of the school day on Tuesday, November 19, 2019. For questions, please contact Paige Liggett, District GT Coordinator, at (940) 720-7930, ext. 5016 or paige.liggett@henrietta-isd.net.
