Organizations
Organizations at HHS
Henrietta
High School offers many opportunities for students to participate in a
variety of organizations. Each organization allows students to become
more involved in what their school does and what it represents. Student
council, for example, represents the student body and helps put on CATS
Ignite, Homecoming Ceremony, Homecoming Pep rally, blood drives,
Opening Day Assembly, and local school dances. Many of the
organizations like FFA, PAL, Pride Pak, and National Honor Society take
part in several community service efforts in the community like, City
Park cleanup, elementary school projects, eetting up for events, and
back pack buddies to name a few. Other organizations lend a hand at
athletic events like the HHS Cheerleaders and the Band. Some
organizations offer an outlet for students that have a good input on
subjects such as Chess Club, Science Club, and Yearbook. Also, one
organizations job, the Crime Stoppers, is to help out local
authorities with any cold cases.
This
collaboration of organizations enriches the school and it's student body
by promoting teamwork, leadership, proficiency, talent, assistance, and
a good work ethic.
