The Henrietta student chosen as the DAR good citizen is nominated by their teachers and chosen by their peers as a student who exemplifies outstanding qualities of dependability, service, leadership, and patriotism.


Come out and watch our Ladycats and Bearcats take on Vernon tonight at home starting at 430pm! 🏀 We are having law enforcement appreciation night and our seniors are selling BBQ sandwiches to raise money for project graduation. Come out and support them all! 🐾

Henrietta Instructional Practices students had an incredible time at the SparkEd conference at Region 9! What an inspiring day filled with learning and excitement. We’re so proud to announce that 3 of our students received scholarships, and 3 more were lucky door prize winners!
A huge thank you to guest speaker Aric Bostick for engaging and empowering our future educators to dream big and follow their passion!

Attention Senior Parents:
We will be offering another Financial Aid and Scholarship Meeting on Monday, February 24. MSU Financial Aid counselors will be here to give a brief overview of the financial aid application and scholarships from 5:30 - 6:00 pm. Then from 6:00 - 7:00 pm, we will have a work session for you to work on the financial aid application or scholarship applications with the help of the financial aid counselors. Your senior does not need to be attending MSU to come to this session. The information will apply to any college/university. We will be meeting in the HHS Media Center.

Due to hazardous weather conditions and concern for the safety of our students, staff, and families, all Henrietta Independent School District campuses will be CLOSED on THURSDAY, January 9, 2025.
This closure includes:
- All classes and academic activities
- All before and after-school programs
- All athletic practices and events
- All other extracurricular activities
District administrators will continue to monitor weather conditions and will provide updates regarding Friday’s schedule by 6:00 PM on Thursday via:

January 9th - Weather Update
Due to ongoing hazardous weather conditions and concern for the safety of our students, staff, and families, all Henrietta Independent School District campuses will be CLOSED on FRIDAY, January 10, 2025. Based on the best information available to us, the roads would not be safe to travel on until close to lunch time, so the decision was made to cancel school.
Sub-varsity basketball has been cancelled, but we do plan to start the girls varsity basketball game at 4:30 p.m., followed immediately by the boys varsity basketball game in Henrietta.
We hope you are all safe and warm, and we look forward to seeing everyone back at school on Monday, January 13th!
