
Day 14- IT'S THE MOST WONDERFUL TIME OF THE YEAR - Monday, Dec. 4th
On the 14th day before Christmas break, my principal showed me that "It's the Most Wonderful Time of the Year" by challenging our campus to a Cookie Challenge! Here are some of the yummy treats that were brought.




Day 13 - “O" HOLY NIGHT - Tuesday, December 5th - On the 13th day before Christmas break, my district gave me " 'O' Holy Night" and provided a Donut Bar for breakfast. A few of the staff members grabbing some yummy donuts.... we "DONUT" know what we'd do without them.

Henrietta JH & HS bands are having a Christmas concert and bake sale this Sunday in the new gym at 3pm.


Thank you to the Midwestern State University Financial Aid Advisors for coming out and talking to our senior parents about how to apply for financial aid.


Congratulations to to all these students who tried out today for the HS All-Region Band! We had 5 students make the Region Band, 1 first alternate and 3 students who advanced to Area for a shot at making the All-State Band!


A few weeks ago, students in Dr. Pierce's Art class combined their knowledge of Biology and Art as they predicted how different materials would affect watercolors. This investigative study was part of their watercolor unit. What a fun, innovative way for students to connect their learning!











15 Days of Christmas Cheer started today and it's National Grinch Day! Here's just a few of the ones that participated in wearing Grinch attire or pajamas.










Just a reminder about our upcoming senior parent meeting regarding the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid). Financial aid counselors will go over the application process and answer questions about financial aid and scholarships.


Exciting news! The HISD Education Foundation awarded $750 to Mr. Peters to kickstart a BBQ team, and they've used it to build a winning BBQ program. Now, they've qualified for the state cook-off on May 4th in Burnett! Way to go! #goldstandard


Join HHS STUCO and NHS in spreading holiday cheer with "Santa for Seniors"! Help make Christmas special for local Meals on Wheels recipients. They aim to provide gifts for 30 men and 50 women. Your generosity can make a difference!

The Henrietta High School UIL Spelling and Vocabulary team won 1st place in the Olney Invitational academic meet. Jalee Tiller placed 1st, Kate Farnsworth 2nd, Scott Bryant 3rd, and Kaitlyn Bryant 4th.

First BBQ competition of the year! Some of these guys played a football game last night and then turned around and got up at 4 am this morning to leave. We are all super excited for today’s competition. Can’t wait to see what the outcome is! Let’s go Bearcat Bar B Crew!!
